MIT-RSC is an exploratory research project funded by MIT Portugal program aimed at developing an integrated risk assessment framework for measuring the direct and indirect impacts of multiple natural hazards in urban areas.
The project involves three participant institutions, the University of Minho (Portugal), the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of the University of Lisbon (Portugal), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and has the institutional support of the Lisbon Metropolitan Region.
